I chose the Wounded Warrior Project for my poster. I picked this as the topic for my poster because my wife is in the military so I ave a vested interest in the well-being of out soldiers. I think what stands out in the poster is the color images on a black and white background. I feel it gives more meaning to the images. I believe seeing the 2 contrasting images of a soldiers also drives the point home.
I can understand why this topic is important to you. I think that we overlook the reality of the price some of our soldiers pay for our freedom. I like the strong imagery you used. Placing the image of the wounded warrior next to a uniformed soldier was a good idea. The text is powerful, but it might have a greater impact if it were larger and in a solid color. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Powerful poster but its hard to read the type. Something bigger and simpler would be better. That sunny-spring day background is a major detraction.
ReplyDeleteFix the poster for an A in the module.
