Something we like

The first blog post is of something we like.  I was originally going to post a picture of my wife and daughter but as most of you can assume, my passion for them is well beyond like.  So I choose cars as my first blog.  I do have a passion for cars and most "car people" have their preference, mine is Mopar's (Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Plymouth).  Below is a picture of my 1980 Plymouth Volare Roadrunner.  This is the last model built with the Roadrunner title. An interesting note to relate this to modern day, when this car was sold in 1979 and 1980, it would average 27 miles per gallon for a 2-door 6 cylinder carburated engine.

  1. Here is my comment to make sure it's working. I think I may have done this assignment wrong but it's a little late now. I think the photo works with the blog because they have similar backgrounds with the gree from the trees and the blue sky. I think the picture fits very well actually.

  2. I agree the similar color schemes help to mesh both your photo post and your blog. I also think that you have chosen a great photograph to share and the facts you have also incorporated are very interesting. I do not know much about cars so your post was extremely informative to me. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Nice photo. Really captures the love for an old flame. Its photographed as if it were a monument or memorial. I think we all retain a a little love for our first cars. Mine was a 63 VW bug that had been chopped to make it look like a dune buggy. Mistake for sure, but I had some fun and learned a few lessons.
